Homestuck HeadcanonThe Queen’s Rings, also known as the Rings of Power x-fold, are very, very powerful artifacts found in the Incipisphere. These rings are made of gold, with white orbs attached to it. The number of orbs always matches, not the number of players, but the number of pre-entry prototyped sprites. Every time a sprite is prototyped before the player breaks the Cruxite Artifact and enters the game, the sprite’s form is transferred to the ring, allowing the Carapacian wearer to use the sprite’s powers. They cannot be used by humans, or trolls, or any other species. It is exclusively Caparacian.
Aside from the powers given by the sprites, the Rings of Power hold a power called the Red Miles, which is an omnidirectional attack of red arms. As long as the bearer can keep their focus on their target, the arms will reach out forever, until the target is dead. The Miles is a power that is held by the Queens, but not the Kings, making them the most powerful piece on the playing fieldHomestuck Headcanon by ~the-equine-doctor

The black and green imps chittered to themselves beneath the branches, sending little 8-bit messages to each other in whatever language they speak. With a flash, the shadow leapt, passing through the crowd, his sword glinting in the light. He landed on the other side, sheathing his cutlass as there were a series of thumps, of the imp’s heads hitting the ground. Josh flicked out one hand, the grist getting sucked up into his inventory.
What a glorious little planet, he thought. He’d already found and explored one of the many low, gray buildings that covered the surface of the planet, solving the puzzles and facing the challenges.
